At present there are two equivalent possibilites of study of this field in the Czech Republic:

 

1. A three-year university Bachelor’s degree course.
   The course is completed by state exams according to the statutory provisions. The state exams are a professional exam with a theoretical part, a foreign language exam, a thesis and its defence.
2. A three-year course at a higher vocational school where the graduate achieves the title DiS – Certified specialist.
   The education is completed by graduate exams according to the statutory provisions. The graduate exam is a professional exam including a theoretical part, a foreign language exam, graduate work and its defence.
   One must have completed secondary school education in order to study in this field, i.e. a School-Leaving Certificate.

 

The competencies of graduates of both these educational courses are equal.

Unfortunately, there is no school in the Czech Republic offering the course in English.
